The Skins League is an opportunity for golfers to play in weekly 2-Person Team competitions with payouts for Skins & Team Placement positions and win their way into a year-end, high stakes Skins League Championship that includes a shot at $1,000,000.  

How Does It Work?

Turn your weekly round into a fun money game! It’s as easy as:

  1. Book a tee time.
  2. Ask for a Skins League Scorecard when you check in (and pay $20 per player for the prize pool).
  3. Play. The format is 2-Person Team Best Ball.
  4. Turn in your scorecard after the round.
  5. View results online.
  6. Winners pick up payouts in the golf shop the following week.

How Much Does It Cost?

  • No up front league fees, simply pay $20 per week (per person) as you play. 
  • Course collects their normal green fee
  • Season pass members, Loyalty Card & PCC may also use their membership/rate to play to cover the green fee portion.

When Can I Play?

  • Play anytime Monday-Sunday to get in on that week’s money games. 
  • May thru September: Compete week to week as you are available.
  • October: The winning teams a spot in the Skins League Championship hosted at The Wilds Golf Club on October 3rd that includes the chance to take a Par 3 shot for $1,000,000.

Who Can I Play With?

  • Play with anyone as your team partner. 
  • You can play with different playing partners week to week or multiple times per week with the same playing partner.
  • Must play with another Skins League participating team to verify your scores.

What is the Weekly Prize Purse?

  • The weekly payouts grow with each participating team.
  • ½ the weekly purse is paid out as Skins and ½ the purse is paid for Team Placement with 1st, 2nd, 5th and 10th place teams each getting 25% of that prize purse. 
  • NOTE: Team Placement payouts are skewed with payouts for 10th Place the same as 1st, 2nd and 5th which replaces the need to use handicaps. This gives everyone who plays a chance to win every time you tee it up while preventing sandbagging. See the link below to view past results for clarification on how the payouts work.

  • Simply book a tee time then ask for a SKINS LEAGUE SCORECARD at check-in

  • Prize money payouts (cash for skins, golf shop certificates for Team Placement) can be picked up the following Wednesday.

New for 2025: All listed greens fees now include a shared golf cart and access to the practice range for warm-up.

Tee Time Reservations
Tee times for 2 to 4 players may be booked up to 14 days in advance. A credit card is required to reserve your time online, but you won’t be charged at the time of booking. If you encounter any issues while reserving your tee time, please contact The Wilds Golf Shop directly. Please note that some discounts may not appear during the online booking process but will be applied at check-in. All rates are listed per person and do not include sales tax.

Cancellation Policy
To cancel or modify a tee time reservation, please call us at (952) 445-3500 x4 at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations or changes made less than 48 hours before the scheduled time are subject to full charges for all players under the reservation. Changes and cancellations cannot be made through the website within 48 hours of your tee time. Email requests for tee times, modifications, or cancellations will not be accepted.

 

NEW Tee Time Reservation System

We've upgraded our tee sheet system to make booking your tee times easier and more seamless than ever. First-time users in 2025 will need to create a new username and password—it's quick and simple. Once you're logged in, just select your preferred day and time, and you're all set to book your next round online.  Weiskopf and Players Cardholders have been assigned credentials connected to your membership, please contact the golf shop if you need assistance.
